When my daughter was a couple months old, she began developing eczema.  What started as a few spots gradually increased until, by about seven months of age, all parts of her body were covered with itchy, inflamed skin.  I tried several different topical treatments, but the condition of her skin was continuing to worsen in spite of them.  Finally, we decided to try treating the eczema from within through chiropractic care.  I began taking her to Dr. Mike on a regular basis and, day by day, I watched the eczema gradually disappear.  Today, five months later, my heart is filled with joy every time I behold my daughter's soft, smooth, eczema-free skin.  There is no doubt in my mind the Dr. Mike's chiropractic care got to the root of her problem--her beautiful complexion is proof!

Symptoms with Christopher first began at 8 months old. He was taken to numerous doctors and had numerous tests done on him. The doctors thought that he had Cerebral Palsy, Fragile X, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, and Mitochondrial Malfunctions. His genes were re-grown and nothing was found abnormal. At 8 months old, he couldn’t bear weight on either foot. One ear of his is larger and different shape than the other. One side of his body (left side) is weaker than the right. Chris never crawled, and didn’t start walking until after 2 years of age. During this period he worked constantly with physical therapists. He was seeing PT’s 4 days a week. He would wake up in the middle of the night 5 or 6 times a night in pain. Mom would do Tylenol, ice/heat packs, pain rub, and none of it worked.

We came to see Dr. Mike. Since then Christopher has improved drastically. He wakes up at night 1 time during the week. He is much like a normal child if he stays under regular chiropractic care. I notice if Chris doesn’t get his neck adjusted within 2 weeks, we are up every single night with feet pain.

Prior to seeking chiropractic care with LaBounty Family Chiropractic I had suffered from Migraine headaches for close to 6 years. I had tried everything I could think of. I had tried taking medication when the headache came on and I had tried a preventative medicine that I took each day. I tried changing the way I slept along with the pillow/bed I used. Nothing seemed to work. I couldn't pin-point what brought on a headache either so I couldn't even avoid doing certain things. I decided to try chiropractic care after hearing some testimonials at work. It didn't take long for me to notice a difference. My headaches went from 3-5 a week to 1 or 2 a week very fast. After just a couple of months these headache became very rare. I quit counting how many days I went without a headache and instead starting counting how many days I actually had a headache. After about 6 months of treatment the headaches seemed to disappear all together. I am coming up on my 1 year mark of starting care and I can't even remember the last time I had a headache. It feels great to be able to live my life and not have to suffer from migraines any longer!

In September 2007, our son (6 years old) was taking three daily medications for asthma/allergies and two medications for side effects from his daily medications. We were concerned for his long term health and ultimately wanted to find an alternative way to fix the root of his asthma and allergy problems, not just manage the symptoms. He received regular adjustments twice a week for several months. Over time we were able to get him on a maintenance schedule of monthly adjustments (that we still do now). My name is Shannon. I'm 18 years old. When I was younger I saw a chiropractor that literally scared me to death. Since receiving chiropractic care, I have re-gained much of the flexibility and movement in my back and neck, and my pain has significantly decreased. When I started chiropractic treatment, my back and neck were too stiff and painful to turn far enough to check behind me to change driving lanes. Now I can turn far enough to see in all directions, and it’s without pain! I am sleeping much better, I no longer have pain that awakens me from sleep, and my back is no longer sore when I get up in the morning.
